That depends on many factors.

Generally bigger is better but it depends on the displayed content and the viewer’s distance from the screen. As a rough rule of thumb, 1” high (72point) text is readable up to about 50 feet from the screen or half the size and half the distance i.e. 36point @ 25feet etc.
