inSight systems negotiate during power on with the connected display device to identify the best available resolution and then scale displayed content to suit the screen. This works well for most types of media with the exception of Adobe Flash (SWF) and HTML content were the content designer has the choice to work in either absolute or relative scaling. While our system will scale content to fit it will not change or distort the aspect ratio which means older 4:3 content will be displayed with side bars on a 16:9 screen and 16:9 material will be shown with top and bottom bars if displayed on a 4:3 screen.
